Though still much too low, Lp(a) testing levels are increasing, and helping to boost initiation and intensification of lipid lowering therapy. This slide deck highlights the importance of Lp(a) testing in primary care so that patients with elevated levels can benefit from potential reclassification of their cardiovascular risk and adaptation of their treatment goals.
