The Lipoprotein(a) Education and Research Forum (Lp(a) Forum) is a not-for-profit organisation registered in the UK. An independent Secretariat has been appointed to maintain transparent financial accounts.
Lp(a) Forum is managed by an Executive Steering Committee. Members of an international Editorial Board are consulted to provide regular commentaries and expert perspectives on new scientific findings and clinical developments.
Comprehensive disclosures and conflicts of interest are deposited with the Secretariat by the Steering Committee and Editorial Board.
Lp(a) Forum will apply for unrestricted educational grants from the healthcare industry as well as charities, government and non-government organisations. In recognition of commitment to transparency and compliance with best practice, all support will be openly acknowledged and all relevant disclaimers incorporated.
Lp(a) Forum is entirely independent of any influence from both the private and public sectors.
