Chemiluminescent ELISA methods for analysing the oxidised phospholipids, OxPL-apoB and OxPL-apo(a), have been validated for use in clinical, translational, and pharmacological research settings – supporting their potential as biomarker tests for oxidative lipid burden in studies of Lp(a) lowering agents.
