Professor Pia Kamstrup, Copenhagen University Hospital, Denmark, considers the relationship between Lp(a) and LDL-C on cardiovascular disease risk, as indicated by epidemiological and other studies, and the residual risk related to Lp(a) when LDL-C levels are low.
